Welcome to Lake Louisa State Park - one of the best alternatives to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground!

Of course, that can depend on what your interests are in the area.  If you really want to be engulfed in the “Disney Magic” and stay super-close to the parks, whatever the cost may be, then the Fort could be for you.

We enjoy Lake Louisa State Park as a close-to-Orlando-but-not-too-close destination when we’re in the area.  Having full hook-ups available makes it a no-brainer compared to many other options, especially at the price of Fort Wilderness.  But we understand there are die-hards that really love the Fort and for many reasons it might be your choice.  To each their own!
